At the same time, a everyone needs a good night’s sleep before AND after a long distance relay. The perfect… just PERFECT… location for the C2A’s pre and post event happenings are at the Hyatts (both Austin and San Antonio). Riot at the Hyatt 2010 – Yeah! (We’ll explain to the Hyatt folks that you are really, on the whole, a responsible bunch.)

In all seriousness, it is an excellent set-up that can not be more convenient or kickin’! The Hyatt in Austin is just a straight one mile shot south of the C2A startline. It sits right next to Lady Bird Lake and Trail (and is also right next to Runtex), and the famous bats escaping from beneath the Congress Ave bridge at sunset will be in superb form.

The San Antonio Hyatt is 200 yards from the finish – a very crawlable distance! It is right off of the River Walk, and boasts views of both the River Walk as well as the Alamo. The post race party will be held in their magnificent ballroom.
